DOG BOARDING

We are proud to announce our new FULL FACILITY GENERATOR has been switched on!  Never worry about the loss of air-conditioning, heating or fresh air at our facility.  Our new Honeywell generator can run the entire facility in the event of a brown out or black out.

Here at Preferred Pet Care we offer cage free overnight dog boarding services.  A standard room is 4′ X 6′ (24 sq. ft.) and will come furnished with blankets, food and water dishes.  All of our rooms can be converted into doubles (48 sq. ft.), triples (72 sq. ft.) or quads (96 sq. ft.) for our multi-dog families.  We allow our guests parents to bring in anything they feel will make their pups stay more comfortable.   This may include their own dog bed, a blanket or towel, toys, bones, crates (we will set it up in their room, but don’t have to close the door) or anything else you can think of that will fit in their room and is safe.

Our overnight guests that are social and pass a trial are allowed to participate in our Doggie Daycare playgroups.  This means that your dog will be out of their room for approximately 9 hours/day on week days, and 7 hours/day on weekends.

If your dog is not social with other dogs, don’t worry.  Our “individuals” will get taken out during our busiest times for a minimum of 10 minutes every hour and played with by staff in a private yard.  If we haven’t reached the maximum number of “individuals” that we allow in our facility or your dog is the only one, then your dog may get up to 30 minutes of private playtime every hour.

We serve Fromm Gold Adult as our “house food” to our overnight guests unless you wish to supply your own brand of food.  We have a full kitchen and can prepare anything (and have prepared almost everything you can think of) for your dog during their stay.  This includes other brands of kibble, canned foods, raw diets, prescription diets, parmesan cheese, green beans, carrots etc.  In addition, if you would like to provide treats during your dogs stay you can bring them in or purchase something at check-in.  Since not all of our guests get 3 meals a day (but all guests get brought to their rooms 3 times a day for rest/meals), you may want to supply a treat for their break time.
